On October 6th, 2017, TheeDigital held our 6th Annual Fall Celebration, Business Networking, and Pumpkin Carving Party – another soaring success! It was an evening filled with costumes, hot dogs, video games, pumpkins, traditional Hungarian food, games of corn hole, and even the stars of Lizard Lick Towing! We are so thankful for everyone that showed up to the event and for making the night so special.
We also have a special thank you to everyone who contributed promotional items for our event giveaways: Pro-Line Trailers, Forever Bridal, Copy CEI, Six Forks Smiles, and Microspace. Your contributions made the event extra special!
Web Designers and Digital Marketers Pitching In Together
Preparations started days before the event with the arrival of the pumpkins – it takes an entire team to get them from the truck to the office and then back out for the event! Diligently working during lunch and early afternoon to set up all the carving tables and tents in preparation, TheeDigitalers were getting more and more excited for the event. This included getting into costume to help celebrate the spirit of the night!
The Event Begins
Before long, lots of guests started showing up ready and in costume! Some decided to start carving right away, and some decided to grab some food and drink, play some video games, corn hole, or large style Jenga, or just hang out and listen to some music first. This year we had beautiful new corn hole boards painted in the NC State and ECU colors.
We were so honored and excited to be able to host Ron and Amy Shirley, the stars of “Lizard Lick Towing” and their new show “Ron and Amy’s Lick Life” that will soon be airing. The Shirley’s were kind enough to come out and have fun while meeting with fans and signing Lizard Lick Towing swag.
Again this year we were fortunate to have Roll On Up Gaming show up with their portable video game truck which was a big hit with everyone, especially TheeDigitalers who had their own Super Smash Bros. tournament.
We were lucky enough to have not just one but two food trucks at the event – both Wicked Links Sausage Company, a fan favorite from last year’s event, and European Bistro serving traditional Hungarian food.
The Raffle and Contests
In addition to so many games and activities to participate in, awards were handed out the best costumes for kids, adults, and pets!
In addition to scariest, funniest, and most original costumes for the contest, we had even more awards available for scariest, funniest, and most original pumpkin carving.
The biggest prize of them all came at the end of the night with the raffle drawing for our Grand Prize – a free website! Rosalyn Camacho Montesito is the lucky winner!
The event was so much fun, we can’t wait to do it again next year!
