Raleigh Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration
Raleigh is going back to the basics this gfourht of July and back to the stadium complex near Carter-Finley Stadium and the Lenovo Center, lighting up the night sky with its annual Fourth of July fireworks show. The 2025 celebration will take place on Friday, July 4, and is focused solely on the fireworks display, offering a family-friendly experience without additional festival programming, stages, or vendors.

Time: Parking opens at 6:00 PM; Fireworks at 9:30 PM
Location: Lenovo Center and Carter-Finley Stadium area
Parking Information
- Free parking is available at Lenovo Center lots, North Carolina State Fairgrounds Bunn Field lots along Trinity Road, and Carter-Finley lots.
- Follow directional signs and staff instructions
- No shuttle services
- Cost: Free!

Durham 4th of July Celebration – 2025

Celebrate July 4th with Durham Parks and Recreation and the Durham Bulls! Attend the baseball game and enjoy a dynamic fireworks show following the game.
Date: Friday, July 4, 2025
Time: Game at 6:35 PM, Durham Bulls vs. Norfolk Tides; Fireworks at 9:15 PM
Location: Durham Bulls Athletic Park
Tickets can be purchased online or by calling 919-956-BULL. Gates will open for general admission at the end of the 7th inning based on availability for those that would like to view the fireworks show from inside the ballpark. Please note, viewing areas are limited outside of the ballpark. Purchasing tickets to the game is strongly encouraged and ensures a spot inside the Durham Bulls Athletic Park to watch the fireworks.
Chapel Hill 4th of July Celebration – 2025
Join the Town of Chapel Hill for its annual Fourth of July fireworks show on Friday, July 4, 2025, at Southern Community Park.
Date: Friday, July 4, 2025
Time: 7:00 PM – 9:45 PM
Location: Southern Community Park
Viewing & Attendance
The best viewing areas are the Southern Community Park ball fields and around the Southern Village Green. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket and get there early to secure a good spot.

Food Vendors
Cool off with a sweet treat from Scream Ice Cream or Mike’s Icys, both located in the park before the show begins. Be sure to bring cash for purchases.
Parking & Shuttle Service
Limited parking will be available at Southern Community Park and the Southern Village Park & Ride Lot. These lots will close to the public at 2:00 p.m. and reopen at 7:00 p.m. For a smoother experience, attendees are encouraged to use the free shuttle service from the Jackson Parking Deck at UNC Hospitals. Shuttles will run frequently between 6:00 and 8:45 p.m., and resume after the show until 10:30 p.m.
Fuquay-Varina 4th of July Celebration
Join the Town of Fuquay-Varina for its annual Independence Day Celebration on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at South Park (900 S. Main Street). Gates open at 6:00 p.m., with festivities running through the evening.
Enjoy live music by Heads Up Penny starting at 6:30 p.m., and cool off at the splash pad, which will be open from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.

Location: South Park

The fireworks display is scheduled for sundown, around 9:15 p.m.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair, and get ready for an evening of family-friendly fun. Coolers are welcome, but alcohol is not permitted. A selection of local food vendors will be onsite, including favorites like Pelican’s Snoballs, Party in a Pita, Holy Fries, Royal Cheesecake & Varieties, and Bruster’s Ice Cream. Cary 4th of July Celebration – 2025
Celebrate the Fourth of July in Cary with an evening of music and fireworks at the scenic Koka Booth Amphitheatre. Enjoy a performance by the Cary Town Band followed by a patriotic concert from the North Carolina Symphony. The night concludes with a dazzling fireworks display over Symphony Lake—offering a perfect way to relax and enjoy the holiday under the pines. open at 3:30 PM, The NC Symphony will be performing at 7:30 PM, followed by a fireworks display at 9:25 PM.

- PARKING LOTS OPEN AT 2:30PM
- GENERAL PARKING: Parking is free of charge in Amphitheatre owned lots. Some local businesses may charge a fee to park in their lots.
- PREFERRED PARKING: A limited number of PREFERRED parking spaces are available in advance for a discounted rate or $25.00 on the day of event if spaces are available.
Garner 4th of July Celebration – 2025
Join the Town of Garner on Thursday, July 3, 2025, for an evening of family-friendly fun at Lake Benson Park. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. for this free community event featuring food vendors, children’s activities, and live music from The Embers, 5:00-7:45pm and the North Carolina Symphony from 8:30-9:30 PM, with fireworks immediately following the symphony performance, approx. 9:30pm. And the best part, its all free!

On-site Parking:
- Parking on site at Lake Benson Park (921 Buffaloe Rd, Garner, NC 27529) is free on a first-come, first-served basis.
Shuttle Service:
- A free shuttle service starting at 5pm from South Garner High School (8228 Hebron Church Rd, Garner, NC 27529) will be provided. The last pick-up from South Garner High School will be at 8:45pm Gates open at 5 PM.
Morrisville 4th of July Celebration – 2025

Morrisville’s annual Red, White & BOOM! returns on July 3, 2025, from 5–9 p.m. at Cedar Fork District Park. This family-friendly event features live music, food trucks, inflatables, face painting, and games,
Music by DJ George Salmi , The Phoebes (6-7 p.m.), Electric Carnival (7:30-9 p.m.) with a spectacular fireworks finale beginning at 9 p.m.

Location: Cedar Fork District Park
Parking:
- Event attendees are directed to park at designated off-site parking locations at 808 and 909 Aviation Pkwy. Shuttles will be running continuously from both locations for the event. The only on-site parking will be accessibility parking.
Road Closure
- Aviation Parkway will close at 9 a.m. until event traffic is cleared from Cedar Fork District Park. The Crabtree Creek Greenway will remain open during the event, except during the fireworks display.
Wake Forest 4th of July Celebration – 2025

Wake Forest’s 2025 Fireworks Spectacular, presented by Capital Chevrolet, will be held on Thursday, July 3 at Heritage High School (1150 Forestville Road). Gates open at 5:30 p.m., with live music by The Ray Band kicking off at 6 p.m. The fireworks display will begin at approximately 9:30 p.m.
Admission is free, Concessions will be available on-site, several food and dessert trucks will also be on hand for additional options.
Parking
- Both regular and accessible parking (by identification only) will be available in designated areas on the campuses of Heritage High School, Heritage Middle School, 3400 Rogers Road, and Heritage Elementary School, 3500 Rogers Road. Parking will also be available at Hope Lutheran Church, 3525 Rogers Road.

Clayton 4th of July Celebration – 2025

Downtown Clayton will host its annual Square to Square Independence Day Street Festival on Friday, July 4, beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Main Street with a fireworks show launched from Clayton High School at dark. The evening kicks off with a kids’ bike parade starting in front of Horne Square—no registration required. Enjoy other family-friendly activities including inflatables, games, rock climbing wall, and a Fire Truck Spray Down at 7:00 p.m. near Church Street and Main Street—perfect for cooling off!

Time: Starts at 5:30 PM; Fireworks after 9:00 PM
Location: Main Street, Clayton
Complimentary treats include snowcones (starting at 6:00 p.m. near Horne Square) and watermelon slices served by Clayton Town Councilmembers next to Clayton Steakhouse beginning at 6:30 p.m.
