Earlier this week, Search Engine Land released their updated Periodic Table of SEO Success Factors.
First released in 2011, the SEO Periodic Table was developed to help people understand the fundamentals of search engine optimization. While there are over 200 ranking factors identified by Google, the chart displays the most important factors and shows how they all work together for maximum success.
Below is the updated table from our friends over at Search Engine Land:
What Does the SEO Periodic Table Cover?
Overall there are 37 different ranking factors listed in the SEO Periodic Table. The table is broken down into two main categories: on-page and off-page ranking factors. Within the two ranking factor types, there are 7 different categories, including content, architecture, HTML, and trust.
