Being a Superhero in Your Business – #5 Internet Marketing

Part 5: Internet Marketing

“I can’t sit on the sidelines and do nothing. I won’t.” said Oliver Queen in Volume 5 #1. Better known as the Green Arrow, Oliver knew that he just couldn’t stand by idly, and neither can you with your website! Getting a new website is an exciting time for a company, but that’s just the start of the process. Now the challenge begins to get your website found!
Super Business Series - Internet Marketing
Did you know that there were 2.2 trillion searches on Google globally over the course of 2013?  You may say that yes that’s an astounding number, but what does that have to do with my business?  Well, 89% of consumers use search engines for purchase decisions and 93.2 percent of B2B buyers said they would research a purchase online.

Pay Per Click

Pay Per Click advertising, or PPC, is quick to setup, great for testing and gathering data, and it drives results and ROI. PPC scares a lot of business owners because you’re paying for every click, but as long as your campaign has the proper controls such as keywords and locations and you know how much a customer is worth to you, then there should be no problem getting a return. . In other words, mobile PPC ads don’t cannibalize your mobile organic traffic, a lot of this PPC traffic is simply lost if you don’t run PPC ads.

SEO

SEO takes more time than PPC but users click more on organic (especially local) results than PPC ads, so eventually this will be where most of your business comes from.  It takes more time to rank higher in organic, but it’s just such a greater share of the clicks that it’s worth the wait time. Plus did you know that SEO leads have a 14.6% close rate, while outbound leads (such as direct mail or print advertising) have a 1.7% close rate! You need both SEO and PPC. They are a superhero / sidekick duo! They may work well separately, but together they are a powerful force for your business. Don’t let your website stand idly by. Let the Raleigh Internet Marketing Experts at TheeDigital help with your SEO and PPC needs.
