Rise Power Systems is a Raleigh, NC manufacturer of low voltage power distribution equipment, including Remote Power Panels (RPP), High Density Remote Power Panels (HD RPP), and Power Distribution Units (PDU) for data centers and other mission-critical environments. Launched by the team behind Sheet Metal Technologies (SMT), a Raleigh metal fabrication company founded in 1969, Rise Power Systems needed a website that could introduce the new brand and present a spec-heavy product line to engineers and infrastructure buyers across North America.
TheeChallenge
Rise Power Systems came to us as a true startup: a brand-new company with no domain history, no existing content, and products still moving through manufacturing during the build. The site had to present detailed industrial equipment in a professional catalog format without ecommerce checkout, since every system is configured and quoted to the project. We also needed to structure the site so new products could be added easily as manufacturing comes online, including the PDU line arriving in 2027.

Design of a Custom Website
TheeDigital custom-designed websites start with a wireframe. A wireframe is a black and white sketch of the layout of the homepage that helps identify the priority and hierarchy of required elements. The project manager also develops a Creative Brief, which encompasses the needs and wants from the client and helps the team pull together a design that reflects their brand.
For Rise Power Systems, the wireframe put the product range and quote requests front and center, leading with what sets the company apart: vertically integrated manufacturing, in-house quality control, and deep engineering expertise. Our design team then built out custom homepage and product page designs in Figma, creating a clean, industrial look that keeps product imagery and specifications easy to scan for the engineers evaluating this equipment.
The Results: A Custom-Designed Website Delivered On Budget
TheeDigital launched Rise Power Systems’ new website in ten weeks, coming in under the original hours estimate even as products were still being manufactured during the build. The site introduces the brand with a custom homepage, dedicated product pages for the RPP and HD RPP, a services overview covering the full equipment lifecycle, and prominent Request a Quote calls to action on desktop and mobile.

TheeDigital designed and built a custom WooCommerce theme with a custom homepage, category pages, and product pages shaped around how engineers and project managers evaluate power distribution equipment. Because Rise Power Systems quotes every system to the project, we configured WooCommerce as a display-only catalog: full product detail, specifications, and imagery without a cart or checkout, with Request a Quote as the primary conversion path.
The homepage highlights the company’s vertically integrated manufacturing, in-house quality control, and engineering expertise, and introduces the product range and lifecycle services. We also set up the company’s LinkedIn page to support the brand launch.
