Crown Staple & Supply came to us with a big vision, and after a previous website launch attempt, trust and communication were top priorities. With over 3,000 products and a desire to outpace competitors online, they needed a robust ecommerce site that was not only functional but built to convert. The discovery process was crucial. Crown came prepared with their desired features—like advanced search filters and other competitor features. They needed a partner who could break down the costs, recommend the right tools, and provide accurate estimates to help them make an informed decision.
To meet the complexity of the build, we took a focused approach—assigning one expert to lead discovery and design, and another to manage the WooCommerce build.
Design of Custom Website
Every TheeDigital website starts with a wireframe—a black-and-white blueprint that outlines the structure, hierarchy, and flow of key page elements. For Crown Staple & Supply, the wireframe focused on creating a intuitive shopping experience for their over 3,000 products.
We structured layouts for the homepage, product category pages, and product detail pages, prioritizing navigation ease and search functionality. This wireframe process allowed us to collaborate closely with Crown and ensure the layout is right from the start.

Compatable Fastners Feature
To enhance the user experience and simplify large orders, Crown Fastening’s new site includes a “Compatible Fasteners” feature. Shoppers can now view and quickly add related fasteners directly from a main product page—no need to navigate away or start a new search.
This intuitive functionality speeds up the purchasing process, reduces friction for bulk buyers, and encourages higher cart values by surfacing relevant add-ons at the point of decision.
Quick Orders
Crown Fastening’s new ecommerce experience includes a convenient “Quick Reorder” feature, allowing returning customers to reorder previously purchased items directly from their account dashboard.This time-saving tool is especially valuable for contractors and professionals who frequently need the same fasteners or tools. This feature improves customer retention and streamlines the path to repeat purchase.
Tax Exempt Customer Management
To support B2B customers and industry professionals, Crown Fastening’s new ecommerce site includes the ability to assign tax-exempt status to qualified accounts. Customers can easily submit their tax-exempt documentation during registration or checkout, and once verified, their status is saved for future purchases—automatically removing sales tax at checkout.
