Despite their strong market presence, Kaufman’s existing website was outdated and lacked the ecommerce functionality needed to support their product catalog and sales process. Without a modern ecommerce platform, Kaufman couldn’t integrate with Google Merchant Center to surface their products in Google Shopping results, putting them at a disadvantage against competitors already selling trailers online. Managing product data — specs, pricing, images, and options across their full lineup — was cumbersome and inconsistent on the old platform.
