Before partnering with TheeDigital, MXR Imaging’s website had grown to more than 500 pages on an aging Kentico platform. Content had become disorganized over time, and the platform made it difficult for their team to manage products, add new pages, and keep the site current.
MXR needed a full migration to a modern, easy-to-use content management system, along with a way to properly structure their extensive product catalog across systems, categories, and manufacturer brands.

Design of Custom WordPress Website
TheeDigital custom-designed websites start with a wireframe. A wireframe is a black & white “sketch” of the layout of the homepage that helps identify the priority and hierarchy of required elements. For MXR, this meant wireframing several distinct page types to support their large product catalog: standard content pages, top-level modality category pages, manufacturer/brand pages, and individual product pages.
Once wireframes were approved, our design team built out full desktop and mobile designs for each page type, followed by development on a custom WordPress build with a dedicated Products custom post type to properly organize MXR’s extensive equipment catalog.

MXR’s previous site had grown to over 500 pages on Kentico, with content that had become disorganized over time. TheeDigital led a full migration to WordPress, carefully mapping redirects and consolidating pages to eliminate redundancy while preserving the site’s extensive content history.
The project spanned close to a year from kickoff to launch, largely due to internal team transitions on MXR’s side and a thorough internal content review and QA process. The result is a cleaner, better-organized site that’s positioned to scale as MXR continues to grow its catalog.
