GoDurham ACCESS is the City of Durham and Durham County’s paratransit service, providing transportation for eligible residents with disabilities or mobility challenges. The program includes four distinct services: ADA Paratransit, Durham County ACCESS, GoDurham Connect, and the Senior Shuttle. Previously, all information about these services lived on a single page within the main GoDurham Transit website, making it difficult for riders and caregivers to understand which service they qualified for and how to sign up.

GoDurham ACCESS needed a dedicated website on its own domain to clearly explain four distinct transportation services, each with different eligibility requirements, service areas, and trip purposes. The existing setup, a single page on the main GoDurham Transit site, was creating confusion among riders, caregivers, and social workers trying to determine which service a person qualified for. The new site needed to make these distinctions clear, be fully accessible to users with disabilities, and support both English and Spanish speaking residents across Durham County.
