Playground Stars

Playground Stars is a Raleigh-based nonprofit dedicated to leveling the playing field in youth sports by providing local communities with an interactive crowdfunding platform to support youth programs. Playground Stars partnered with TheeDigital to launch a modernized, conversion-driven website that would serve as the foundation for a future full-scale crowdfunding platform.

The project included a newly designed and developed website, featuring a custom homepage, About page, and Donate page—each built to directly support their future crowdfunding goals.

Playground Stars needed a modern, professional website to match their bold vision of becoming a major player in youth sports crowdfunding. Their outdated site lacked the design and credibility needed to attract donors and showcase their mission—especially as they prepared to launch large-scale fundraising campaigns. They needed a professional platform that would legitimize their vision, capture donor confidence, and serve as a strong foundation for future growth. This new site would be the first step toward building the full crowdfunding platform they envision. And critically: they needed their new custom-designed website to be launched under budget and within a tight timeframe.

Strategic Landing Pages

As part of the build, we developed two strategic landing pages: About and Donate. These pages were designed to support Playground Stars’ fundraising goals and community mission. We crafted the pages with clarity and conversion in mind, guiding visitors to understand the organization’s impact and take action.

The About page highlights Playground Stars’ mission and values, while the Donate page streamlines giving with clear messaging and an intuitive layout. Both pages build credibility and support their crowdfunding efforts.

Fully Responsive Mobile First Design

The development process prioritized mobile-first design to ensure an excellent user experience across all devices.
