The Miss North Carolina Scholarship Pageant is an official state preliminary associated with the Miss America Organization. The non-profit organization is a part of the largest scholarship providing organization to women in the world, and dedicated to empowering young women to achieve their personal, professional, and educational goals.

The previous Miss North Carolina website did not have a good flow or organization, especially to priority information. The mid-2000’s design was outdated, and was not setup properly for SEO. Loading new information to the site, such as the ability to load pictures, was less than optimal. The old website also lacked giving proper credit to the Miss North Carolina sponsors, which would help as a benefit to draw in prospective sponsors.

Using WordPress, our development team was able to create a stunning design that was easily optimized to attract prospective students seeking IT certifications and careers in IT. The new homepage drives home that My Computer Career is focused on helping their students do more than just get IT certifications, they are putting them on a path to success. With graduate testimonials, career path information including projected growth and income, and clear links to their programs and career services, prospective students can find the information they need to make a confident decision regarding their future.
