SEO Copywriter
Full-Time Remote Position (USA / East Coast Hours)
TheeDigital is a fast growing, full-service digital marketing and award-winning web design agency in Raleigh, NC with a fully remote but local team. We have been serving happy clients with innovating marketing solutions since 2004. We are hiring a talented SEO Copywriter to further expand our team.
Who You Are
Self-motivated, copywriter with an exceptional ability to write content that compels visitors to convert into leads. Effectively communicate and multi-task in a results-driven environment. Demonstrate outstanding organizational and time management skills.
What You’ll Do
- Write search engine optimized website content for both local and national businesses
- Develop and implement impactful off-page and on-page SEO content including title tags, meta descriptions, and optimized header tags
- Responsible for researching keywords, competitor content, and industry trends to optimize existing content and uncover new content opportunities
- Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
- A person who can grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong research skills
What You’ll Need
Required:
- Proven experience as a copywriter
- Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong research skills
- Basic knowledge of WordPress
Preferred:
- Experience with SEO
- Agency experience – 2+ years
- Experience with some or all of the following: Google Keyword Planner, Google Ads, and Facebook Business Manager
- Familiarity with Digital Marketing tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Advanced Web Rankings, etc.
Desired:
- Email marketing experience
- Social media planning
- HubSpot experience / certifications
- Google Analytics experience/certification
- Experience with other CMS platforms e.g. Shopify, WooCommerce, and WebFlow
