Associated Scaffolding is a full-service equipment and safety supply company in Durham, NC. They have a thriving business renting, selling, and installing scaffolding, swing stages, trash chutes, fencing, and more at seven locations across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee. They also sell safety and construction equipment across the US via their online store.
After working with another company unsuccessfully, Associated Scaffolding decided that our expertise with WordPress and ecommerce platforms made us the right choice for the job.
When Associated Scaffolding approached TheeDigital in late 2018, they knew they needed a more modern looking website and more robust ecommerce capabilities. They also wanted to migrate their site from Drupal, an open source website management platform, to WordPress.
In addition to a larger ecommerce store, they needed special shipping options and the ability to better manage their training events.
We created a modern design that reflects the Associated Scaffolding brand and meets their needs. With WordPress and WooCommerce, we were able to build a site that can house thousands of products. These platforms also make it easy for the Associated Scaffolding team to add, remove, or edit products on their own, without the help of a developer.
To solve their shipping concerns, we set up their entire shipping gateway, allowing them to easily ship products and equipment, no matter how large or small.
We also added an easy-to-use calendar feature for event training registration. Users can now view upcoming trainings on a calendar, register, and pay right on the website. In addition to making registration easier on the users, the team at Associated Scaffolding can better manage class sizes and training rosters.
WooCommerce, a dynamic ecommerce platform, was an important addition to the Associated Scaffolding website. This platform makes it easy to manage their large product catalog online. The Associated Scaffolding team can now add, remove, or edit products on their own, without the help of a developer. WooCommerce also makes it easy for them to track orders right in the backend of their website.
